Re-digging the Ancient Wells

We are a non-denominational, charismatic and evangelical church which was founded in 1991 by pastors Philip and Margaret Evans. After several years of renting various buildings and much prayer, in the year 2001 the building that we currently use was made available for us.

It is a wonderful story because the building was built in 1896 by Christians from the Beaumaris area and was in use during the 1904 Welsh Revival. In the 1950's the work died and later various organizations used the building for secular purposes. The building was modernized and became available for our use in 2001. We feel that we are re-digging an ancient well of living water and believe that the Christians who built the building in 1896 would be pleased to know that the work of God is continuing with us. The Lord has given us a promise that 'the glory of this latter temple will be greater than the former' Haggai 2 v 9

Accountability

We believe that accountability is important for all Christians and churches. Oasis Church is a member of the Evangelical Alliance and Philip and Margaret are affiliated ministers with International Gospel Outreach (www.igo.org.uk). Philip and Margaret also relate to other leaders locally, nationally and internationally.

Our Team

The Trustees for Oasis Church and the building are Philip & Margaret Evans, Arthur Moseley, Trevor Newport, Minnie Brimecombe, Rose Darby-Brown and Sue McBride
